The key ideas of Yasawi's teaching

The key ideas of Yasawi's teaching.
-Harmonious blend of Islamic spirituality and Turkic culture: Yasawi successfully fused Sufism, Sharia, and folk ethics, creating a spiritual doctrine that was understandable and relatable to the Turkic people.

-Humanism and tolerance: In his "Hikmets" (teachings), Yasawi called for love of humanity, the establishment of peace, and the rejection of hatred towards other nations and religions.

-Spiritual self-perfection: The Yasawi doctrine details the path of mystical cognition of God (tariqah), dividing it into stages: Sharia, Ma'rifah, Tariqah, and Haqiqah, with the aim of achieving a state of dissolution in God (Fana).
Main ideas:
The key ideas of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi's teaching lie in the synthesis of Sufism with the Turkic worldview, the promotion of humanism, tolerance, and peace through his poetic collection "Divan-i Hikmet," as well as in outlining a path of spiritual self-perfection (tariqah) based on Sharia and mystical experience. His teaching became the foundation of the Turkic branch of Sufism and contributed to the spread of Islam among Turkic peoples.
Information about the relevance of the project
The program "The Path of Yasawi: a comprehensive study of the religious-philosophical, literary and linguistic heritage of traditional Sufism in Kazakhstan" is an interdisciplinary study aimed at a deep and comprehensive study of the heritage of the outstanding thinker and spiritual mentor of the Turkic world - Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. His teaching, the Yasawiyya tariqat, had a huge impact on the formation of the religious, philosophical, ethical and cultural foundations of Kazakh society, as well as on the development of literature and language. The program proceeds from the understanding that the heritage of Yasawi is not only a historical phenomenon, but also a living tradition that continues to play an important role in modern Kazakhstan. The study of this heritage is relevant in the context of strengthening national identity, developing intercultural dialogue and forming an ideological platform for sustainable development. The program covers a wide range of research tasks, including the analysis of Yasawi's hikmets, the study of the history of the penetration and adaptation of Islam in Central Asia, the study of the influence of Sufi philosophy on Kazakh literature and language, as well as the popularization of Yasawi's heritage among the general public. The project involves the use of a comprehensive approach that combines methods of history, philosophy, religious studies, literary studies, linguistics and anthropology, which will allow us to obtain a holistic view of the Yasawi phenomenon and its significance for the past, present and future of Kazakhstan.
